265 Items of Warm Clothing Given to Kids at NHS Communities

In December 2013, Neighborhood Housing Services (NHS) and Idaho Central Credit Union (ICCU) held a Warm Clothing Drive for kids living at NHS Communities, including Davis Park, Stewart Avenue, Northwest Pointe and Gateway Crossing in Nampa.

Thanks to the generosity of NHS and ICCU staff members, 265 items were donated, including 57 coats, 71 hats, 59 scarves and 78 pairs of mittens.  Many items were donated, and through fundraising efforts by ICCU, over $1,000 was raised to purchase additional items, ensuring the kids received everything they needed.  In the following weeks, the kids could be seen bundled up as they played outside, just in time for snow!  They were all excited and appreciative of their new warm clothing.

NHS would like to thank Mandi, Natalie and the rest of the ICCU staff that helped plan, sort and deliver items for the Warm Clothing Drive.  We couldn’t have done it without you!
