Kwal Primes Paint The Town For Success

Neighborhood Housing Services’ Paint The Town™ is only 2 weeks away! Paint has already been distributed to the teams, and soon Boise’s Bench will be spattered with freshly painted and revitalized homes.  As we prepare to pick up our brushes and rollers, we can’t help but be thankful for our paint supplier and sponsor – Kwal Paint – that helps make this community event possible.

Since 2000, Boise’s Kwal Paint store manager, Mark Gholson and his crew have been supplying Paint The Town™ with primer and paint at a discounted price.  They stepped in when our previous supplier could no longer provide the paint, and have been a dedicated sponsor of the program ever since.  If you think that every home is painted the same color, think again. Kwal provides 12 different paint colors for the event – giving the recipients a nice assortment of hues from which they can choose.

Kwal has been an exemplary sponsor over the years – giving of their time, warehouse space, and money.  Each year, they spend anywhere between 2 days to a week of their time mixing paint in preparation for Paint The Town™.  They also give us 3 days to organize and distribute the paint and supplies to the team captains right out of their warehouse – making it easier on the Paint The Town™ staff and the volunteers picking up the paint.  Beyond this, Kwal has donated thousands of dollars toward our community event.

We mean it when we say that we have some of the best sponsors, donors, and volunteers, and Kwal Paint is no exception.  Their willingness to help Paint The Town™ when we were without a paint supplier is greatly appreciated.  It is their commitment to the success of their customers that makes them an outstanding Paint The Town™ sponsor – always making sure we are primed for this important community event.
