Last week, Neighborhood Housing Services received an $11,000 general operations grant from the U.S. Bank Foundation to support our affordable housing programs and community events. Contributions like theirs allow NHS to continue helping low- to moderate- income Idaho families and individuals in nearly every facet of the homeownership process – educating, counseling and lending to homebuyers, providing new and rehabilitated affordable homes, and revitalizing neighborhoods with our annual volunteer events, Paint The Town™ and Rake Up Boise™.

U.S. Bank has been a long time, vital partner to the success of NHS programs – contributing in financial and volunteer capacities.  The foundation has continually supported NHS general operations and offered loans for our new construction projects and lending capital funds.  U.S. Bank employees have served on our board and committees, and also volunteer for both Paint The Town™ and Rake Up Boise™ each year.

Part of the U.S. Bank Foundation mission is to seek to build strong partnerships and lasting value in our communities by supporting organizations that improve the educational and economic opportunities of low- and moderate-income individuals and families. NHS is deeply grateful to be in partnership with such a committed corporation that has a similar mission to our own.
