NHS and 2,000 Volunteers Paint The Town™!

26 Years, 2,700 homes and 76,000 volunteers! Neighborhood Housing Services (NHS) first began Paint The Town™ in 1983 to help 21 seniors living in Boise’s Vista Neighborhood maintain their homes. No one ever dreamed it would grow to this size…. 26 years later!

On Saturday, June 7, over 2,000 energetic volunteers, representing nine communities and 104 teams, joined together for the 26th Annual Paint The Town. These dedicated volunteers brightened and revitalized the homes and lives of 87 senior and disabled homeowners throughout Southwest Idaho. Many teams went above and beyond painting; they also replaced doors, built wheelchair ramps, planted flowers, repaired roofs and hauled away yards of trash!! An enormous thank you to our dedicated and amazing volunteers!
