NHS Develops Grand Avenue Homes in
Boise’s River/Myrtle District
Boise Mayor David Bieter Craige Naylor, NHS Board President; Bea Black, NHS Deputy Director; Heather Sabala, U.S. Bank District Manager; Tom Lay, NHS Executive Director; Phil Kushlan, CCDC Executive Director & Boise Mayor David Bieter

A Ground Breaking Ceremony for the development was held on October 24th celebrating NHS' twenty townhome-style condominiums in the River/Myrtle District of Boise's urban renewal area. The development is designed to serve a growing population of young professionals that would like to leave the office and spend their commute time on the river, in the foothills, or at Bogus Basin. NHS Grand Avenue will offer these new homeowners convenient access to all downtown has to offer.

Building Grand Avenue provides an opportunity for NHS to make a significant investment in revitalizing an older Boise neighborhood. The two and three bedroom homes ranging between 785 and 1340 square feet will have street-level parking. All ground-floor residences will be “visitable,” four of the homes can be fully accessible, and selected homes will have ground-floor master suites.  Quality amenities, including hardwood floors and granite countertops, will be standard.  The common area will be highlighted by an attractive courtyard and gathering area.

Prices for these homes will start at just over $200,000.  Financing for the project is being provided by US Bank and NeighborWorks® America.
