Neighborhood Housing Services is proud to announce that we have been selected as one of FUNDSY 2008’s three non-profit beneficiaries.   

“What a great way to start our 25th Anniversary Year!” stated NHS Executive Director Tom Lay.  “Recognition from FUNDSY with this prestigious award validates our value in the community and will open doors to new partnerships in our future. The FUNDSY award will initiate our capital campaign to retire the mortgage on our office building.”  

Mark Your Calendars!  The FUNDSY Gala Dinner and Charity Auction will be held May 3rd, 2008.  NHS staff and volunteers will actively participate in the fund-raising and event planning activities for the Gala.  Proceeds raised will be shared among the three beneficiaries: NHS, The Learning Lab, and the Idaho Historical Museum. 

FUNDSY, a non-profit organization, was incorporated in 1967 to raise funds for capital improvements at the Downtown Boise YMCA. After many successful years, FUNDSY expanded its philanthropy to assist other non-profits in the community. Over the past 41 years, FUNDSY has raised over $6.1 million for capital improvement projects benefiting 37 organizations.
