Families living at NHS’ Gateway Crossing Multifamily Community in Nampa enjoyed an evening of festive fun, food and SANTA! The jolly bearded man and his elves visited Gateway Crossing on a recent Friday evening, spreading holiday cheer and goodwill to all who were in attendance.

Many of the residents contributed to the celebration by preparing something special from their family’s traditional holiday meal.  The fragrance of delicious homemade dishes filled the air in the Community Room, which was festively decorated…complete with a unique “School Supply” tree.  As the children patiently waited in line to fill their plates, they were delighted to choose an item from the tree…markers, erasers, colored pencils or scissors!

After the meal, the families enjoyed a visit with Santa and his elves, where each child was given a special gift. With nearly 100 children waiting for Santa, the NHS Staff worked hard to see that all children felt the magic of the season.

Neighborhood Housing Services extends a heartfelt thanks to the anonymous donor whose generosity made all the gifts possible.  NHS is also grateful to the Costume Shop for their generous donation.
