Neighborhood Housing Services (NHS) is pleased to present the 2nd Annual Multi-Cultural Festival on Wednesday, July 12th from 6 p.m.-10 p.m.  Festivities will take place at NHS’ Northwest Pointe Apartments, 3475 N. Five Mile Road in Boise.  Activities and entertainment include a drum circle, belly dancers, Bosnian and Turkish Dancers, a water slide, face painting and various picnic games. 

The event is “a celebration of diversity, fun and food,” says NHS’ Resident Services Coordinator, Terry Graves. It was started in 2005 as a way to embrace and celebrate the many diverse cultures amongst the refugee population at the Northwest Pointe Apartments.   The NHS property is home to numerous refugees from countries including: Bosnia, Mexico, Somalia, Columbia, China and Cuba.
