NHS recently received a grant for $40,000 from State Farm Insurance in support of our affordable housing services and resources.
“We believe it’s our responsibility to support the communities where we live and work,” Elaine Guillory, State Farm Agency Field Executive, said. “We look at our philanthropic contributions as investments in helping families realize their dreams because vibrant, thriving neighborhoods build safe, strong and educated communities.”
NHS Executive Director, Tom Lay, points out that State Farm employees have been involved as both program volunteers and board members, lending their expertise in the areas of insurance and financial planning.” In their work with NHS over the last 15 years, State Farm associates have witnessed the growing demand for affordable housing, which is why the company has contributed more than $185,000 since 1991. We share State Farm’s same good neighbor philosophy and believe it’s what creates significant and sustainable change.”
NHS deeply appreciates State Farm’s support and involvement with our programs!
