State Farm Insurance Grants $16,000

Neighborhood Housing Services (NHS) has been awarded a $16,000 grant from State Farm Insurance Companies. The funds will be used to support home buyer education, Rake Up Boise™ and NHS’ 25th Anniversary Gala on September 27.
“State Farm’s generous support will allow NHS to continue helping Idaho’s hard working families begin building wealth for their future through sustainable homeownership. Their sponsorship of Rake Up Boise™ assists NHS in coordinating nearly 5,000 volunteers to rake and winterize yards for over 700 senior and disabled Boise residents,“ stated NHS Executive Director, Tom Lay. “This generous grant represents a continuation of State Farm’s long-term partnership with NHS. We appreciate their commitment to Idaho communities and look forward to their participation in our 25th Anniversary Celebration.”
